De Kleine Aukje

A Dutch sailing barge (Sutsje Tjalk) built in 1903 by Barkmeijer. She is 13.5m x 3.45m. She has been tastefully converted to provide a comfortable floating home / cruising vessel, retaining her original sailing rig and leeboards. She has a well documented History, with a book published about her time as a trading vessel and leisure craft. 

Interior: From the open stern cockpit through to the open plan saloon and galley providing a spacious living space with large windows, opening skylights and full headroom. A doorway then leads to the main double berth cabin on the starboard side. On the port side is the main head with a small bath and shower combined, plus a hand basin and chemical toilet. There is a low doorway leading through to the fully lined forepeck (which has restricted headroom) from the main berth.  This area is currently used as storage but could be converted to provide an additional berth.

Gearbox: Velvet Drive 2.2:1 reduction hydraulic

Transmission: Aquadrive type, 35mm stainless steel shaft to 440mm dia. three blade bronze propeller.
